Regional Update: What is new and coming to Jacksonville on the economic front?

About our speaker:

Michael Breen joined the staff of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce in January 2007 currently serving as Senior Director of the Cornerstone department responsible for marketing the Jacksonville area to new business and industry.
Mr. Breen was the founder and President/Managing Director of TBC International, an international management consulting firm. From 2003 through 2004 he served as Director of Business Development & Consulting Europe . Prior to founding TBC he was Vice President of MORAN, STAHL & BOYER, INC. (MS&B), one of America’s leading corporate relocation consulting firms.
Prior to joining MS&B, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Metropool, Inc., a non-profit regional mobility management association. He also served as Director of Mobility Planning for the South Western Regional Planning Agency in Connecticut and later became Vice President for Regional Business Mobility Services for the South Western Area Commerce & Industry Association (SACIA).
He has served on the State of Connecticut's Mobility Task Force; President Jimmy Carter's Special Mobility Task Force; and the Task Force on Public/Private Partnerships of the National Academy of Sciences. He also served as an advisor to the Cary, Cuomo, and Koch Administrations in the State of New York and the Grasso Administration in Connecticut. He served on the national board of directors of the Association for Commuter Transportation in the U.S. He is active in a variety of professional organizations, is a frequent convention and seminar speaker, and has written articles for professional publications.
