About the Panelists:
AARON HOLMES
DC Water

Beginning his career as a buyer almost a decade ago, Aaron Holmes has touched a broad range of B2B initiatives in both the private and public sector. He's held positions with increasing levels of responsibility for corporations, both large and small, within the finance, automotive, utilities, and healthcare industry, including managing the travel program for a Fortune 15 company. He marries the breadth of his experience with various purchasing methodologies to achieve best-in-class outcomes, sharply aligned with client/employer requirements. But the professional axiom Holmes believes is the cornerstone of successful procurement, is internal and external relationship management, the importance of which will no doubt determine the overarching prosperity of your program.
Holmes did his postgraduate study at the University of Maryland and resides just miles away from his hometown of Oxon Hill, MD. Outside the office, he enjoys the occasional single-barrel spirit with his father, reading (mostly non-fiction), still life photography, improving his cooking skills, the politics of the day, and exploring the world through travel.
He currently resides in Washington, DC, where he works as a procurement consultant for DC Water.
